Now that was pretty weird!  good post I especially like the clothespin and the punny remarks. Wonder how many people line up for the job of sorting garbage??

We just shoveled 5 inches of Spring off our driveway. harhar Tomorrow is the first full day of Spring, though, so maybe today doesn't count.

That was fun!  When I was teaching English many years ago, these animal group names were always popular with the students.  There were some here that I had never seen before.  good post

Shaky, this is definitely not a big deal, but are you aware that the preview of posts isn't working? It says "fetching preview" but nothing ever happens.

good post I enjoyed that clip very much! I feel great sympathy for the eagle after just shoveling 6 more inches of heavy snow off the driveway and feeders, but at least I don't have to incubate eggs in this weather.

I don't think Spring is coming any time soon. Here near Allentown PA it is currently 0 degrees with a 4" layer of snow and ice on the ground. Chickadees are not yet singing their "fee-bee" song, juncos are still here in force at the feeders, male cardinals and gray squirrels have not yet begun to attack each other in territorial and/or mating battles, robins are staying close to their swampy winter headquarters, and none of the deciduous trees show signs of budding. For me, the first and most reliable sign of Spring is the arrival of male red-wing blackbirds staking out territory.

Oops! I thought the numbers started from the river where his aunt's factory was. Bill says no, this building is downtown. Downtown Trenton has been basically boarded up for years due to crime, gangs, and other related issues, so hopefully any falcons would be safe there. Still cool, though.

Thanks for the update at last even though it is terrible news for us and especially Kendal. Given a choice, I would prefer euthanasia for an adult falcon that has previously won a mate and produced offspring and therefore knows the kind of productive life he should be living.

Someone had offered a while back to contact Mr. Nash for a Kendal update. I never saw any such update but recently one of the posters mentioned that Kendal is not releasable. I feel so sorry for a wild falcon who has tasted the adult life flying free in the sky but is now stuck in a cage somewhere. Why are there never updates???? I personally think that's very wrong and very unfair!
