Welcome to the Powers nest box and mushroom farm. Hah! It's a good thing the falcons are total carnivores. I wouldn't want them to eat magic mushrooms. I saw a young fledgling eat a salad of poison ivy leaves after having dinner. Believe it or not! lol I think we were with you that day in the gorge. Seneca? I believe you're right Kris. On Pride's Rock in front of the observation deck.

Am I seeing Beauty and Dot.ca displaying as if it were spring? I don't remember them doing this in the past. Of course, I could have missed it. My understanding is they do this at the end of every season to secure their bond to each other. Maybe someone else on here can explain it better than I can. Thank you Kris G. and Carly for your answers. Guess I did miss this in the past, even when I was a falcon watcher! Hi all! Yes! The adults will pair bond at the end of the season. They are letting each other know they did a great job and that they will do it all again next year! lol

This situation is so sickening to me. We work so hard to protect our little ones. To give them the best beginning we can possibly give them. They wander, find a mate, have young, then this. So much is out of our control. It makes me so sad and so frustrated that we are powerless to help. Move on Cadence. Please.
