As usual I don't know if we can attend or not. Where will everybody be meeting on Saturday morning?
Not sure yet. I was actually going to ask Carol tonight if there has been any discussion. It will be great to see you if you can! We were talking about that on watch. We're waiting to see where the juvies are flying at the end of the week. Possible spots are the hole, the park, Falcon Watch Central, the Court St Bridge (but not Friday night because of Dinosaur traffic), maybe the gorge (we can only hope). There's no parking on the Broad St Bridge. It's a wait and see situation.

Our falcon artists Lou and Dana have been very busy this year. Everyone is free to make their own T-shirts. It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with! No time at this point...don't know why I didn't think of it sooner! We can make it a blast from the past TShirt weekend. lol

I'm a little concerned for Rachel, maybe she wasn't ready, maybe she was. Maybe she has a bump and wants to rest! Who knows....well her, I guess! I think she fledged a day early. I watched her all day yesterday and I think she's ok. A combination of the heat, early fledge and a bit of a loss of confidence when Ontario hit her on her fledge flight has her down a bit I think. She did good when she made her way to Widow's Walk and then to the Times Square bldg. I was so happy to see her sprint down the roof line and jump down to the nest box platform. Well done young Rachel! Hopefully it will cool down a bit tonight and they'll all become more active.

I'm saddened that Cadence and her mate lost both of their offspring. It's hard to not be emotional, but I am grateful I got see her become a mom. Cadence is a survivor, and will soar the skies of NJ with pride. I will think of Cadence and remember her as a juvie when I fledge watch our 3 eyases this year.
This pic of Cadence and her eyas resting against her was taken yesterday.
