I had heard it was happening tomorrow at 1. Did they change it?

Cadence  came in, Dad left. She finished off the pigeon leg, after offering a small piece to the sleepy eyas. She is now brooding her young one. Sadly, nothing can be done about that egg.

Barb Baldinger confirmed today that Screech (DotCa's older sister - born 2008 to Jack & Angel) is still the resident female at the AT&T Tower in Pontiac, Michigan.  She and her mate have 3 offspring this year.  The year she was born was the first year I met and helped Frank out with his fledge watch.

Hooray for Cadence and her first eyas!   

Oh darn. I was really hoping.

I was hoping she'd have at least one or two to raise - would be a good number for a first time mum.

7:20 am. Breakfast is served. RM feeding her two eyases.

She's doing a lot of shimmying. But too dark to see much.

The cameras just missed it, but Rachel was on the falcony sporting a silver band. Her yellow tape is gone.

That will make it a little harder to ID them.

Two at the nest tray. First time I've seen both RM&T together in a long time.

Cadence hovering over the eggs and doing a lot of listening.

A little while ago the male left and Cadence took over incubation. I got a good look at the eggs and saw no visible pips.

I didn't see anything earlier either Carol.  It's 30 days since she laid the third egg but they were heavy incubating with egg 1 so we should have had one hatch by now at least.  We can hope for the last 2 but it is possible dad was shooting blanks given he was stressed out and incubating already when Cady came along. 

I have my arms and legs crossed for the last 2...!
