It could be worse. In 2003, there was an ice storm that coated the Kodak nest box in ice and inspired this infamous ShakyPic.



 

Poor Mariah. Kaver was always getting into trouble.  

I still call the First Federal Bldg OCSR. 

Yes, and now you've got me calling it OCSR!  I have to catch myself every time I talk about the First Federal Building with my co-workers, because they have no idea what "OCSR" means.   

I am a bad influence. Hahaha!

Looks like talon prints in the nest tray. We can only hope.

It's like deja vu. At this same nest box, years ago, an intruding female flew into the nest box to battle then resident female Buffalo Beauty. I hope all involved, including the egg, are OK. Hate to see territorial battles.

 

No one has been on for over 3 hours now - it's minus 4 and with wind chill minus 8 and now the snow has surrounded it.   

So sad to see this.

Rhea Mae is on the corner of the nest tray with a VERY full crop!

Looks like it's snowing there. RM is on the egg protecting it while T is standing nearby on the ledge.
