Rhea Mae is standing in her nest tray. Is egg #1 on its way? I hope so!
For the past few days, both ignored the nest box after her spending many nights in it or beside it. Then last night she rediscovered it. I also saw her laying down at the far end yesterday for awhile. This morning both at far end perched looking out. They don't seem anxious or anything - meaning not reacting as if there is an intruder, it's puzzling but they don't seem to have the sense of urgency for eggs that we do anymore. Unless something is going on at an adjacent site - maybe that has their attention.
She was laying in the nest tray last night. Usually she's been on the corner. The King St nest is so close. Always a concern. She was late last year so I'm not too concerned yet.
