Rhea was the first Peregrine I had seen in person and I instantly fell in love with her.  She died soon after that.  I so respected Mae and had wanted to honor her also.  Hence the name Rhea Mae!

Sorry Pat.  I was watching Rhea Mae and Tiago together in their nest tray and they were beak to beak for about 5 mins.  Not live streaming video, but it looked the same as what Beauty and Dot.ca did.  I've seen adults do this as well as adult to eyas.

Thanks, Carol.  Maybe it's another sign that B&DC's relationship has reached a new level; that they are more of a couple, like Rhea Mae and Tiago. 

They sure have grown into a wonderful pair.

7:35 am - Tiago is gone now and Rhea Mae is still in the nest tray.  That was a long beak to beak session.

7:38 am - Both gone now.

7:15 am - Two in the nest tray beak to beak!

The reason given to my co-worker when he asked one of the employees there was that Tim Horton's is closing all of their cafes in Rochester that don't have drive-through windows.

Lots of folks don't have cars downtown.  Many take buses into work and leave their cars at home.  Most business for them would be walk ins.
