Oh, look!  It's 7 ABOVE Zero again!  This morning, the roads were snow covered and slippery.  Not like yesterday when the pavement was showing.  We had about 3-4 inches overnight and we are again under a wind chill warning.  Dress warmly and be careful if you have to go out in this frigid weather!

Glad you're back with us Pat and happy to hear that all is well with your husband.  We used to have a snow blower.  I loved using it.  Now we get our driveway plowed, but I'm still out every day shoveling, shoveling shoveling.  Spring is just around the corner!

I've been checking out the archive pics in hope of getting a glimpse of Beauty or Dot.ca at the nest box.  Imagine my surprise when one popped in for a visit!   

and then seeing both Rhea Mae and Tiago bowing at their nest tray.  That certainly made my day!   

After I posted the pics of the visitor to the Times Square nest box, I flipped over to the Toronto Sheraton nest site and caught both Rhea Mae and Tiago bowing at the nest tray! Woohoo!  He left and Rhea Mae remains on the ledge.   

Then on perch in front of nest box and then up onto the roof of the nest box.

Then at NE Corner of Nest Box Platform, next to main cam.  Looks like Dot.ca!  (10:30 to 10:42 AM)

Just caught Rhea Mae (I think) at the nest tray.  Then she was gone.  Poof!

Wow!  It's 7 degrees ABOVE Zero!  It's a heatwave!   

The roads were clear down to pavement on my ride into work today.  Sorry to say more cold and snow heading our way.

Hi Colleen!  You're not late at all.  It's great hearing from you. 

That 2006 season was hard to watch, but in the end, it turned out to be a great year.  Two of the three surviving fledglings went on to find their own nest sites and mates, and raised young of their own.  Seeing Kaver feed an injured Mariah was one of the most memorable moments in all the years I've watched the Rochester Falcons.

Pretty sure it was Rhea Mae (based on size) on the stand pipe on the nest ledge.  She just took off.

Love the snow shark!  

Someone reported a Gyrfalcon hunting gulls at Charlotte yesterday.  Would love to see one in the wild.
