I like that goose Donna!!!   

Beauty left the OCSR top Ibeam and went into the elevator shaft.  Dot.ca visited for a moment on the top IBeam before joining Beauty in the elevator shaft.  As reported by MAK this a.m.

Remember when I posted pics in my watch report of a banded Canada Goose I saw while on a watch at the BS location?  This was back on 10/18/14.

Well, I finally received a Certificate of Appreciation for reporting the band #'s to the USGS.  Here's the scoop on this goose.

She is a she.  Hatched in 2002 or earlier.  Banded on 6/24/03 in Henrietta, NY by the DEC.

Looks like this goose is a local goose!

Lucky and Rhea Mae are cousins? 

That's why Rhea Mae did not eat Lucky.  He was family.   

Currently a falcon (probably Beauty) on south side top IBeam of OCSR.

 Scratch didn't  like being wet or cold.  She'd head for the house at the first drop of rain, and try to snuggle with us if she was cold. 

I can still remember Scratch at the end of the pedestrian bridge with Peregrine Falcons flying overhead.  Scratch was very brave!   

You know you live in Rochester, NY....... When 25 degrees feels balmy!
