There was a falcon on the nest ledge, now gone.

Looks like a falcon was on the south side of OCSR IBeam for just about 3 mins, then left.

Falcon on the nest ledge, near the tray.  Looks like it might be Rhea Mae.

The falcon moved to the pipe, 3/4 down the nest ledge.  So hard to believe that Rhea Mae is going on 9 years old!

WOW, time flew!! 

She was my 1st juvie that I saw and my 1st trip to Rochester. She was under the Ped bridge and Lou let me watch her through the scope!

I remember that Donna!   

When she was an eyas and a juvie, she loved to use her big yellow feet.  She and Aura were next to each other on the Genesee Brewery.  When Aura got a little too close, Rhea Mae gave her the boot!

King Street Update. Third Bird In the Area
January 19, 2015 - Toronto - King Street
Tracy Simpson Reports:

This morning shortly after 10am Linda Woods was looking at the King Street East nest site area and had activity in the air.  A third bird entered the territory from the southeast and engaged one of the adults.  She believes that the two interacting were both males and that the female remained out of the fray on the south side of the Dynamic building.  The interaction continued for almost 45 minutes and included chases and vocalizing but no talon to talon contact.  Who this third bird is is unclear at this time but the flight pattern of the second male was distinctly that of Windwhistler and Erin was not reacting to this bird at all.  Could it be that Windwhistler is still around?  Further observation will be following this week.

With Sheraton being so close to King St, I was very happy to see two birds on the nest ledge yesterday and bowing to each other.  I am sure they are aware of what is going on at King St.  I just hope that however this all turns out, all the falcons involved stay safe.

We had Archer and Mariah together for awhile.  Grandma and grandson.  It happens.  I do hope that Windwhistler is ok.  Happy to know that Stormin survived his nest site take over.  It is a very small falcon world out there. 

I know and Beauty's mom, Dorothy, and her grandson, E2, are mates. 

Oh my goodness! There is no hope of me ever getting these family trees straight! Yay to those who can!

I know!  It's like a big Peregrine Peyton Place out there!
