I believe that they sell them to people who then let them go...and who knows what else.  I'm sure many don't make it.  Stupid!

Pigeons are a much rarer sighting at the nest box than falcons.  So, good job!

I believe that the adults are not banded.  So, not Mariah.  I always hope to someday hear about Mariah too BC.  No reason to be sorry.   

I just wanted to thank all those that contributed their favorite pictures for the 2015 calendar.  We are in the process of working on it.  I will let you know when it's available.   

These are happy days with Beauty, Dot.ca and their young.  This small section of the forum is for remembering the falcons that we lost. I just wanted to keep them "alive" in some small way.
