Beauty came in with food and the little wanderer is back on the nest box platform.  All 4 eyases being fed.

Glad to hear that Quest and Skye's fledges are doing good so far.  I had to smile when I read this in Mark's report, "Little Hayes finally coming to the ground, (and after a short but intense foot chase around both buildings - on both sides of the street), was successfully scooped-up and later released back to the nest building roof top", just imagining Mark and the other volunteers chasing Hayes around on foot. 

We had a similar "almost rescue" with his mom Quest who came to ground on her fledge day.  She was able to get herself up to a low building and all was good after that.

Second attempt at flight

This evening, it was reported from the day shift, that one of the fledgling had taken a second attempt at flight.  I found it exactly in the area it was last spotted. The little guy stayed there all evening and was still there at night fall and the end of the watch for the night. Three remain on the nest ledge. Not sure who we have off the ledge until we can get a visual on the band colour.

The Watch continues, and as the young become mobile more assistance will be needed to follow them to ensure they are flying well and staying high.  King St watch will be starting soon as well.

Looks like Dot.ca dropped off food onto the nest box platform for the eyases and then Beauty came in to take control of the feeding a couple minutes later.

Do you think mom or dad is above them?

Well, it was bound to happen.  One of the eyases made it to the left side of the nest box.  It's Nor'easter!
