What do people think about a watcher holiday dinner on Saturday, December 22nd at 4 p.m. at the Shanghai restaurant on East Henrietta Rd? It has a lazy Susan table. I have eaten there before, so can recommend the eating.
If interested we could do a secret Santa with value of gift to be less than $10. Gifts would be exchanged at random with no one knowing to whom they will give nor from whom they received.
Let me know.

Hi Larry! I see no one has responded to your invite, at least here on the forum. Is anyone able to attend, or would it be better to wait until after the holidays? Isn't this on the West Henrietta Rd? what is everyone thinking about this time and date? Nice restaurant! We go by it all the time but have never eaten there. I do have a friend that goes there frequently-says the food is great! Just looked it up. You are absolutely correct Kris. It's at 2920 West Henrietta Road Rochester, NY 14623.

"Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan."
OH, that is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes! I raise them from my computer, look out over the lake and, indeed, i can almost see that huge marine layer of cuss still out there. Happy holidays, all

Dan and his group of "beginners" put on a wonderful show for us last night. They are a group of folks who get together once a week at McGraw's to practice, playing mostly Irish songs. Last night they even snuck in a Christmas song! Loved it! Instruments range from violins & guitars to all kinds of instruments, including a dulcimer. The Watchers that were able to attend were Larry O (and his sister Liz), Kathy O, Lisa McK, Joyce and Steve, Dana, Lou, Carrie and Shaky. Dan, as always, was thrilled to see all of us. We let Dan know why you weren't able to make it MAK.
