just curious is it taller than the Kodak Office Building? KO looks bigger (I know its not downtown) BC, The Xerox Tower is taller than the Kodak Tower. Kodak Tower = 360 Ft Xerox Tower = 443 Ft

so is this a different KPT then the KPT that has been there? Without getting a look at the bands, if banded, there is no way to know if this is the same bird or not. The watchers believe there may have been two Pefas here since Unity left that area. I believe that I may have seen a female today, based on size. This bird had a bright white chest. Adult plumage. Beautiful bird. Hopefully, some day, we will get a positive ID.

What is an “Assist”? I’ll use this term when an adult bird “helps” a juvie in flight. It could be the first flight or a subsequent shaky flight. An adult will fly closely alongside or underneath the juvenile to guide it. I have never witnessed body contact but I would assume it is possible. The adult will often try to force the young bird to a safe landing as it guides it either up or down to that spot.
This is exactly what Mariah did for Isaura. Assisted her back to the Kodak Tower, gently nudging her from behind and below, lifting her. Yes, there was physical contact between them. This happened on my first Falcon Watch 10 years ago! I will never forget it.

Black skies and rain to the east (toward Rochester) and bright sun in the west= double rainbows! Beautiful! Very nice Kris! Love those double rainbows. Just gorgeous!
