do you think Tiago will stay for Christmas?? and maybe Storm' will vist
None of the adults in southern Ontario migrate. Quest has been bopping around doing visits to the near east of where she nests but returns home weekly several times. In cities there is no reason to migrate. They can all find shelter and pigeons are abundant!! This is a good thing really because it removes all the hazzards of migration and helps the Peregrines live longer lives. For whatever reason, our current male Archer and his grandpa Kaver both migrated during the winter. Our females stick close to home. So interesting to watch their behavior.

So happy for you Big Frank! What a beautiful owl. The owls that we've seen here in Rochester so far have been females. Good choice not waking up Tracy a 2nd time.

With the holidays so close, we'll wait until the first of the year to begin this project.
So far the following folks have responded and are able to help out:
List of Volunteers - That have responded
MAK Patti from KY Paul H. Dale Jeanne Ei Carol P.
Lisa McK. June S. June and Lisa have volunteered to cover the Rochester Peregrine Project, when Peregrines were released in Rochester to help bring back their numbers. Interesting stuff.
Shaky will help with figuring out how we will put all of this information onto the Rfalconcam site.
Still waiting to hear from
Aafke Donna Karen R. Joyce Ginha Kathy O. Jim P. Brad C.
This will be a big project and we can use all the help we can get. Please consider helping out even if you only have a little bit of time to volunteer. We realize that some of you have limited time to help.
Thanks to all that have signed on.
Enjoy the holidays everyone and we'll get this all started soon.
Carol P.
