Archer and Beauty in the nest box together at 5:43 pm.

The funny thing is that I would have normally gone over to that section of the city looking for Archer and Beauty.  Last night both A&B were on the jail communication tower. So there was no need to go any further and besides it was getting dark.  Thanks A&B!!!

Is this the first sighting of Archer in a few days?  I thought he might have left the area.  So you saw him tonight?  Maybe he will hang around for a few more weeks...or maybe the winter to defend his territory? Is that in the realm of possibility?  He does have two nest sites to protect/

Not sure exactly how long it's been since we last saw Archer.  A couple days I think.  This is definitely not unusual.  He may be going on day trips and the Watchers are only downtown a very small part of the day.  So, we can't be sure he hasn't been around over the past days. 

Both A&B were on the jail tower tonite, Beauty above Archer.  Both looking south.

Since he has migrated the past few winters, I believe he will continue to do so.  But of course we can't be 100% sure what he'll do.  We'll keep Watching!

Ahhhh, these two are such "love birds".         

I've never seen this Monument, found it on fb. They say it's behind the Blue Cross Arena. A very nice sculpture. Guess the falcons never go there.

It's very close to the nest site at Times Square on Court St on the other side of the Blue Cross Arena aka Rochester War Memorial.  Not tall enough to be a Falcon perch.  Beautiful statue.
