WanderingFalcon (Carol P.): Quick check at KP. Saw no falcons. Now downtown. One falcon near the top of the jail tower SW side facing south. All quiet.

I am fairly certain that we had Beauty downtown on the jail tower and Unity on the tall still at KP.  No Archer sighting.

At 7:00 pm, it was already getting dark.  Our morning and evening windows are getting shorter and shorter for seeing the Rochester Falcons.

On the way to & from the grocery store...

3 ducks in flight-couldn't tell what kind-just the flapping like mad & not getting very far of a duck
2 kettles of Turkey Vultures
2 probably blue jays-size was right & they were doing the single flap/bullet glide of a blue jay
Small flock of LBJs
3 mourning doves

Sorry but I'm thinking and thinking, what are LBJ's?
Greetings Aafke

Aafke - That means little brown jobbies.  Meaning a small brown unidentifiable bird.  Smiley

Jeeez, Carol P! Make us all feel bad, why don't you?! You could at least have put the list in taxonomic order while you were at it...

Um, wow, I quit?  Embarrassed   Shocked

Oh, no!  Don't quit!  Like I said, I just happened to be in Montezuma for the day on Saturday.  Otherwise, I would have only had a very short list.  Just good timing.   Smiley

Interesting that they never pan it over the Kodak Tower.  A quick peak at the lower floors, but never the whole thing.  Just interesting.   confused

Pssssst. A new look for the Quick-N-Dirty 30.

http://rfalconcam.com/rfc-main/archiveQd30.php

I like the look aesthetically but it will take some getting used to for those of us who use it to scan for action at the scrape.

I have to agree with Ei.  I like the look, but it might be easier, for scanning purposes, if the pictures were straight and not all crooked.  Just my opinion.   wave

Pretty cool  this slow moving cam thing. Can see quite a lot and lights going off in the buildings as it gets later. Is this an auto pan setting or do you have to manually do this?

It's Yarak.

No, Yarak was sound asleep in the Chnook at KP.   devil
