Majesty is Cabot-Sirocco's (Mariah's first mate) sister.  Just to tie this to the Rochester Falcons.  

This is great.  I love that they care so much for "their" Falcons, especially the young man who does the talking.  I would love to meet him and shake his hand.

I'm so glad that they were able to capture her and take off her band and treat her injury.  When Mariah injured her foot so badly, I was so happy that she was unbanded.  

Good job to all involved!  

So...where is Bluffer's Park in relation to the Sheraton?

any report on jemison since her release?

Actually we're quite sure that Jemison was a him, although he was banded a she.  Just like Sabrina aka Valiant.   

Sorry to say, we have not heard about Jemison since he was released at Montezuma.

You're very welcome Jeanne.  If Shaky set you up, all you have to do is include the word "falcon" in your text and that should send it directly to here.  As much a blessing tweeting is to get our sightings to the forum quickly, it can be a nuisance too.  Especially when you are watching very fast, sneaky birds.

Hard to believe that Shaky was only 48 when Yarak was born.   

I received an answer to my email this week from the folks that work at the power plant where the KP scrape is located.  They had been made aware that the falcons had been incubating and saw that there was only one egg in the scrape, a little further north from the original depression.  This was different than the two eggs that had been previously seen at the front of the opening.  So, was this a 2nd or 3rd clutch?  Guess we'll never know.  I am quite sure that incubation has ended.  Neither Unity or Archer have been on the eggs in over a week.  This has been a strange year indeed for the Rochester Falcons and Falcons everywhere.

Thankfully we've had so many other Falcons and their young to watch.  Here's hoping for a successful Rochester Falcon season in 2012.
