Very neat. I sent the link to Barbara Loucks, NY DEC. If it's a NY bird, she'll probably know. Thanks to Debbie and NFF for posting here on the forum. We do love to try to help ID them.

Other Nature Related Information / General Nature Discussion / Re: Hillary from Hilliard Road Bridge in Ohio has died

"As for Hillary, the reason I referred to her as “our” Hillary above is because she’s nobody’s bird, yet also she’s also everybody’s. We never knew where she came from, no one can say that they ever saw her as a chick at a banding, and she likely was never held in human hands. We only know her age because we had the pleasure of getting to see her in her juvenile plumage when she first came into contact with Hilliard’s Buckeye—she’s nobody’s bird because she has been strong and independent as peregrines are as long as we’ve known her. Yet she’s everybody’s bird in that during her nine year life all who have observed her whether in person or through reports and photos have gained something from the experience. We’ll miss her dearly." It cannot be said much better than this. To "know" these beautiful creatures is such an honor.
Fly Free Beautiful Hillary. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Hello again!
In case any of you are wondering about Quest's transmitter, she just flew by my window and it's still hanging in there!
Have been witnessing lots of fun and games with Harlequin and her parents: chasing and swooping and diving. Currently Harlequin's on the ledge to the right of the scrape ledge, chowing down on an afternoon snack!
UPDATE: now Kendal's got dinner and is making Harlequin chase him for it! Exciting!!
Thank you Kat.

Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcon Discussion / Re: Eggs or No Eggs at KP! That is the Question!

Sorry to say that it looks like incubation of any eggs in the scrape at Kodak Park has ended. It's been a few days since any Watchers have seen any incubation taking place.
From where we are allowed to watch, it's impossible to tell if there are any eggs left in the scrape. We'll keep watching and reporting what we see at both KP & Times Square.
Why don't you give your contact at the plant a call and have him check it out for us! I have emailed them. Waiting for an answer.
