Soon after I left this tweet, the sky darkened and it started pouring! Dan quickly packed up his chair and we all jumped in our cars. Darn rain. Dana and I were the last to go, leaving the Falcon on the red beacon light on the catwalk of the east smokestack. Was it Unity? Or Archer? We couldn't be sure. But it was quiet downtown and quiet at KP. A Good Night!

I'm wondering where they were-- is that floor the one that has kind of a walk around where people used to stand. It looks like a kind of landing.
It looks like it was on the floor of the balcony and the person was taking pictures through a window. Have to wonder how loud the fight was. Probably was REAL loud!

I agree with Lord G that its all chromatic aberration and compression artifacts.
I'm surprised that the two of them got into a fight on Kodak Tower. Why should two falcons land there and fight on the ledge rather than do some aerial sparring to establish a territorial boundary? Does someone want to nest there? Ideas?
Paul
I saw Unity yesterday at 3:45 pm and she was sleeping, head tucked under her wing. Last night Dana and I watched her for a couple hours and she was flying around and landing. She seemed fine. MAK saw Beauty flying around this morning. So it looks like all well, at least at this point. Whew!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes back on April 29. I did see them and appreciate them. I barely noticed when my birthday came and went this time because of working with the Red Cross in response to the tornadoes down here. I am safe and well, but many people lost their homes and some lost much more. We are still working to help with recovery from the tornadoes, and now have flooding to deal with too. Going back to lurking now, but always here reading. Thank you to those of you out there watching and reporting on the falcons. You are appreciated! So glad that you're ok Donna! Thanks for letting us know. Take care.

Ahhhh, that's too bad. Going to miss seeing you Patti. I just started a new job two weeks ago, so I'm going to be short on vacation days this year...so no Rochester visit for me. I hope there are some successful hatches, healthy juvenile peregrines, and you guys get to see some great flying!
