Thankfully they have each other now and can share body heat.   

With the frigid temps and food probably scarce, I'm sure they all appreciated your hand-outs Carol. Good for you guys. Thanks.

Ahhhhh, thanks Margaret.  Of course we are NUTS!    Hence our winter name "Falcon Flakes".  

and if anyone is wondering who the black Buddies (not to be confused with our downtown Buddy, the Ring-billed Gull) are mentioned in Joyce's tweet, they are three Crows that have adopted the Falcon Watchers checking out KP for Lady Pefa.  Today, while MAK, Joyce and I were sitting in our cars, heaters blasting, the three amigos flew over to keep an eye on us.  Of course, some leftovers from Joyce and I were greatly appreciated.    A Mockingbird even came over to share their meal.

Great news!!!   

I was looking today on the CMNH Forum to see how Seneca and Cheyenne are doing and this is the report from yesterday:

I have not seen the falcons on the bridge at all since early January, and this morning there were ring-billed gulls sitting on the lights the falcons normally sit on. Plus, today was the first time I saw the RR Eagle fly by my window at work. I'm concerned about this pair now.
 
In looking back, the last posting of a sighting of Seneca was Dec. 20th and Cheyenne was seen and photographed on Jan. 3rd.
Hope everything is alright with them. 

I wouldn't be too worried.  They could be nearby.  We don't see Falcons on the Time Square bldg very often.  They tend to either migrate or move away from a nest site.  Hopefully there will be some sightings soon.

I remember losing my purse many times in that revolving restaurant  (the OCSR).    That elevator was quite "cool"  in its time in Rochester.  Since then I think the revolving "scene" was home to an advertising agency and is now home to a female attorney's office -- if I am not mistaken.   So, Carol, you are saying that that elevator is still in use?    I'd love to take a ride on that!    Is it thought that falcons are sleeping or nesting in there?    Where are they sleeping on these frigid nights we are having?  

Yes, Margaret.  I've seen the elevator go up and down many times while watching.  Heard a lot of stories of lost purses inside the old Changing Scenes Restaurant too.   

We're not exactly sure where the Falcons are roosting at night.  Falcons seem to like going up inside the elevator shaft where they can perch very easily and get out of the bad weather.  Mariah and Kaver used it to hunt from and to store food.
