OK, volunteers. I'll be soon setting up a place for all of us to start collecting the Rochester Falcon History. Keep watching! Any one else want to help? Just post here and I'll add you to the list. Here are the details of yesterday's crazy lunch time falcon watch. First there was the crazy lady going out the inside of the driveway.  That should have been my first clue to stay away. Then after entering the complex, just as you turn to circle the building there were numerous (about 60-70) Canada Geese grazing in the grass and crossing the road. Suddenly the geese all take flight and fly over my car, of course doing what birds naturally do when they fly over cars, crap on them.  I then noticed what startled the geese, there were three white tail deer running across the lawn, right in front of my car. The remainder of my watch was uneventful. No Pefa sighted. Whoa!  |

 This Columbus? Yup. The falcon that was there left at 7:45. MAK cannot find any sign of them. She thinks they may be the 2 hanging out at the Brighton location. Maybe the male is wooing her over there!!! He better not! Beauty get your head on straight.....remember Archer??? I really doubt that Beauty will leave her territory. If she is visiting the Brighton location, she can still see the downtown area from there. |

This is the northwest corner of the Columbus building. Beauty was last reported to be on the northEAST corner.  She was seen on that building before, if I recall correctly. In the fall...there's a gym in the building...I think she may have stooped from there... Ei Beauty and Archer have both been on this building. On the southside of the Columbus bldg is the infamous fire escape that Brian and I first found Mariah under, during the territorial battle. Carol P. |

Actually, it was Dana, not me, that went on the last trip to Buffalo with you gals and I believe that MAK saw the Statler Pefa, not BB. But who knows for sure.
I KNEW THAT...(just testing). LOL! Geesh...we've been on so many falcon adventures, I guess you were there in spirit anyway. Oh yeah, I knew it was the Statler Pefa; must have had BB on my mind. Must be the strain on the brain from not seeing any falcons this past weekend. I was DEFINITELY there in spirit!  |
