My head is going to explode. Larry O And one other interesting tidbit...
If she's 73/H - Female banded at the Bayshore Power Plant, Lucas County, OH 2009- Name: Shay, then she hatched at the same scrape where Millie (Archer's sister) nested in her final year with Swifty, before moving on to Monroe MI with Leopold.
Here's the piece I'm not sure of...Is Shay the daughter of Swifty & a new mate? If she is, she's ALSO a relative of Beauty, though a bit more distant. Swifty is the son of Roosevelt, Roosevelt is the brother of Erie, Beauty's father.
And Erie, Roosevelt & Leopold are full brothers. And Hunter, who was with "our" Ranger in Toronto, is their half brother (all sons of Bandit).

Wow! You know your PeFa family tree! I don't think I know that much about my own family tree :-) It will be an interesting nesting season. Thank you for all the information.. and we know there has to be an M/K link in there somewhere. Let's see. If the KP bird IS Unity. She is the daughter of Belle, who is the older sister of Beauty, making Unity Beauty's niece. Now for the tricky part. In 2006, Rhea Mae, the daughter of Mariah and Kaver was hatched and fledged successfully. Rhea Mae's first daughter, at the Sheraton in Toronto, was named Unity by the Rochester bunch. Unity may be the name of the KP bird. Coincidence? I think not!

I had to laugh. I was sitting in my car for about an hour. The sun was shining, but dark clouds loomed to the north. The three neighborhood Crows were keeping me company. They are very curious about us Falcon Watchers. lol The clouds moved in and so did the snow. It started snowing really hard. The Crows were smart, they took off probably looking for shelter in the nearby woods. Just as I was thinking about taking off, a streamlined, pointy-winged beauty flew in from the south. I jumped out of my car just in time to look up to see our Lady Pefa flying overhead. I got one picture of her as she passed overhead, flying towards the KP complex. It wasn't long before I lost her in the heavy snow, so I have no idea where she ended up. I couldn't see the buildings at all. It was great seeing her. Carol P.
