That is so very sad.  I'm sure that our local rehabber would have been happy to contact them and help with some advice for the care of this beauty.   

M&K's nest box from the Kodak Tower is now located on the Powers Building.  A&B's nest box was built by the Boyscouts and in storage at June's house.  When we needed two nest boxes, it was brought out of storage to be placed on the Times Square bldg.

These two building are very close together, so we weren't sure which (if either) would be chosen.  The falcons chose the Times Square location.

Will the Powers nest be removed this Winter so no stragglers decide to claim it. Then we'll have a territory battle brewin!

Just had the absolute privilege of being eye to eye with a Peregrine. Unfortunately it was in the Vet's practice here in Kilkee where he is treating a rifle bullet wound to it's left shoulder which had become infected and maggoty. Thankfully it seems to be responding to the antibiotics and TLC, is drinking water but won't eat. Any suggestions? This is the third raptor (others Kestrel and Sparrow Hawk) that he has taken in with similar injuries in the last month or so.

The DEC has been notified of a possible pair at KP and we'll keep them updated on what's going on through the Fall and Winter. 

There were two nest boxes at KP at one time, both on buildings on the east end of the plant on Lake Ave.  They were both taken down by Kodak.

I'm really glad to hear that the Kodakers are excited about having the falcons there.  Last weekend one of the guards stopped and asked us about the falcons.  Word is spreading. 

I don't want him to go at all. I wish Beauty would put her talons down and tell him to keep his tail feathers home. Like Rhea Mae did with Tiago last winter.

The big green, yellow, orange, red blob again hovers over the fair city of Rochester (and no! it's not Rhea Mae!).   

Last I heard that blob was going to whack folks in WV and Western PA big-time - don't know about Rochester.  We are getting blobbed again.

I arrived at KP after MAK and the KP Falcon left.  Dana said she headed low to the north (the Falcon, not MAK).  Kathy O joined us for a short while.  After a couple hours, the Falcon did not return.  Dana and I headed in different directions looking for her, but had no luck.

Happy to hear there wasn't too much damage Janet.   

Since we've only been seeing the KP female (we believe), I have to wonder if the Tiercel she was hanging out with has also migrated.  Maybe he and Archer took off together.
