BB may not have helped out due to the eggs being so close to the two Tiercels. Her concern seemed to be to keep them safe. Also, the two males seemed to be in a wrestling match, both on their backs. Neither wanted to move to give the other the upper hand (or talon in this case).

We ended the nite a little after 9 pm. It was very dark and we could just make out Archer on the SW corner of HSBC. Larry and Cleo had just left when we heard juvie acking fill the air. It seemed to come from the top of the Xerox bldg. While Dan and I scanned the top of Xerox, Kathy yelled out that Archer had taken off. He flew past Xerox heading west. Kathy lost sight of him and we could not verify where Callidora was. It was too dark to continue the Watch, so we all headed home. Tomorrow is another day.

—Synonyms 2. biting, cutting, mordant, bitter, derisive, ironic, sardonic. and why is the Fringehead considered to be sarcastic? What does a fish have to do to be called sarcastic? I guess they do bite. But what caused them to be bitter? Did they lose a loved one and now they're just plain bitter? I don't think they cut their food, since they don't have any hands to hold a knive. Although they do have big mouths. Maybe the other fish make fun of them and that's why they are bitter and sarcastic. Hmmmm. Things to think about. You're right Carol. Maybe they have every right to be sarcastic. Poor loveless, no-knived, big-mouthed, picked-on fringeheads. Hey wait a minute. I think I'm a sarcastic fringehead. Lou Hey! That's not true! We love you!

Fingers crossed that a bunch of you will be able to photograph and video his release.
Does anyone have an idea if he would be released out of state (like Maryland or Virginia for example)? Or depending on the season, would he be released "close enough" but "far enough" away from Rochester?
Haven't heard anything about how or where a release would be done. Of course it all depends on how well Jemison does in the flight cage.

Lou
My, my, my. You're being very sarcastic.

That is VERY cool on several points: The Mink - most people wouldn't recognize one of those varments in the summer; that was a good-sized fish!
Yeah, the man fishing from the bridge was very envious!
