I was half joking, but the request for everyone to become voting machines and spend an additional hour or more each day voting could seem a bit odd to the casual observer.
I hope by next weekend she's not asking us to spend 8 hours a day voting.

Thought for Today
"The rich, sweet smell of the hayricks rose to his chamber window; the hundred perfumes of the little flower-garden beneath scented the air around; the deep-green meadows shone in the morning dew that glistened on every leaf as it trembled in the gentle air: and the birds sang as if every sparkling drop were a fountain of inspiration to them." ~Charles Dickens, The Pickwick Papers

If there's a guy urinating all over the place, one of the Falcon Watchers will get a picture and turn it over to the police. We've done this with other, uh hum, notorious activities. When I was over at City Hall watching Beauty on the Frontier Comm Tower the other day, lots of people asked me if there was a Falcon up there, including the Red Shirts (ex-police officers on patrol). We have them well trained over there. So MAK's on Broad St. down by the Post Office when 3 police cars pull up behind her. They knocked on her window and told her to roll it down. She said "did I do something wrong"? Officer, "no, but we have reports of a black man urinating all over Rochester and clearly your not a black man"! MAK, "no I'm not". Officer, "what are you doing here"? MAK, "watching the falcons". Officer, "the who"? MAK, "The Peregrine Falcons". Officer, "The Kodak Falcons"? MAK, "yes", (she was nervous and not thinking). MAK, "yeah, usually she is up on this building right here". Officer, "oh the HSBC building"? MAK, "yes". Officer, "do you have a current license"? MAK, "yes". Officer, "can I see it"? MAK hands the license and he said, "as long as you have no warrants", your OK. Officer takes license and runs it through. Comes back and say's "have a nice day"! MAK, "you too"!

That's so awesome Kris. It's great seeing this community of caring folks help out with something like this. Keep the votes coming! A reminder: Please vote for Lexy.
Thanks for posting the reminder, Annette! I spoke with Grace Leanen yesterday (the lady who did the video about Lexie) and told her how our Forum group and others were all voting. She was thrilled to know that all of us are helping win this and was going to tell Lexie's mother. I also told her that everyone would like to see a follow-up story in the event that she wins (and it's looking really good!) and she said the bank will do a story and picture follow-up of the winner.

Thought for Today on this Election Day (in the US)
