I spoke to the rehabber this afternoon. Jemison is doing really well. Yesterday he didn't eat much, but he made up for it today, eating everything placed in front of him all by himself. This is very good news.
If all goes as planned, he will be X-Rayed tomorrow. I'll continue to post updates when I get news.

Not much more to add on Jemison's condition. Today was a day of rest for our young fledgling and quail, I believe, was on the menu. They want to stabilize him and make sure he's eating ok.
Rest well Jemison.
Do you know if they did xrays and have an idea of what type of injury it is?Kris - As far as I know, they were going to wait a couple days to let him rest and eat before doing the XRays. We're just so very lucky to have him in a place where a Vet is available to look after him, especially during the holiday weekend.

No one has any idea what happened. The way I understand it is that the police let MAK know that they had a Falcon down on the grass in front of the Crown Plaza. By the time she drove over there, Animal Control was there and had already placed him in a carrier. They told her they would be taking him to the Vet.
Kathy O and Diane were watching from the top of the South Ave. garage and they didn't see anything either.
Dana and Jim P are there. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

The Watchers have just reported that Jemison was found on the lawn in front of the Crown Plaza on State St., not far from the Time Square Bldg. It is unknown if he was injured or not, but he is on his way to the vet for a check-up.
Hopefully all will be ok and we'll hear good news soon.

Kathy just called to say that she and MAK have all 4 Falcons in sight.
Callidora at the top of the fancy metal work at the top of the Time Square Bldg (TSB), between the wings.
Jemison on the base of the NW base of the wing.
Beauty on the south side of TSB, with food.
Archer flying here and there.
Kathy had to go to the top of the South Ave. garage to see Callidora. Couldn't see her from the street.
Kathy O & MAK on Watch.

That's good Janet. Now for part 2. Said person returned today. I hadn't seen him the first time, but I had heard his story. This time it gets even better. Kind of like the fish that got way. As he was coming up the stairs, he was telling us that the Falcons visit him on his balcony all the time. Kathy O made the mistake of asking him where he saw them. He told us that the falcons we were watching were young ones and that the original falcons from the Kodak Tower were massive. They stood about 3 feet tall and had a HUGE wing span and their heads went back and forth like a cobra. I guess Mariah and Kaver have now hit legendary status.
