This is a shot down into the well next to the nest box.  The ladder goes down into this well.  Looks like pancam will have no problem seeing the eyases if they go down there.

Can I tell you that they're just cracking me up this morning.   

Mourning Dove?  Glad they got a good meal this morning.  Yesterday was a little rough.  They were very unsettled.  Hopefully today will be quiet.

For those of you who don't know, this building is also called (by the Watchers) the old Changing Scenes Restaurant.  Mariah and Kaver used this building quite frequently.

"I googled the school and can't find it.  The only thing I found was a 2010 article that says a school was named for the principal, Charles Avery, and it is now an administrative building.  


Jim, in your blog, she says Freedom sounds like Mariah on the birdcam.  Do we have Mariah's vocalization?

When we spoke with Mark Nash during Rhea Mae and Tiago's banding day, he mentioned that a male and female had been seen somewhere near Port Colborne.  This was after Freedom had left the Port Colborne nest site.  Mark said they thought this may have been Freedom.  

I hope they're right and that Freedom may show up at a different nest site someday.

I know it gets so confusing.  It's like a Peregrine's Peyton Place.   

M&K are Archer's grandparents and Freedom is his dad. Isis would be his Aunt.

When the Watchers get bored, they start talking about all the ties and relationships to the Rochester Falcons.  It becomes quite amusing.
