Yes, we (Shaky, Lisa McK and Carol P) saw Archer on top of the Times Square bldg, next to the NE wing. He flew off and I spotted him flyinging past Midtown and low behind a bldg. Never saw him after that. He's probably out on a hunt.

Looks as if they might be starting brooding. Could this mean we're done w/ egg laying? For a young inexperienced pair this may not be a bad thing - just two eggs - mother nature's way. Archer especially seems eager!
Could be Brobeta and congrats on your first post. I think if Beauty is going to lay a 3rd egg, it will be today. But, two is good!

If yesterday was an indication of their current behavour, Archer is hunting for Beauty right now. He is quite the hunter. I have no doubt these eyases will be well fed! While I was downtown watching (9:30am - 2 pm), Archer brought food (small birds-starlings?) to Beauty. The first time (around 9:30am) he prepped it and brought it to her at the nest box. She took it to the Wilder bldg, while he kept watch over the eggs. The 2nd time (afternoon), he landed on top of the Times Square bldg (NW wing). Beauty was out of the nest box in a flash, ee-chupping the whole time. She landed next to him, GRABBED the food and started enjoying her lunch. Archer flew over to the NE wing (above the nest box) and watched Beauty eat. Hahahaha! Poor Archer never had a chance to even pluck one feather that time. Oh, and you're not going to believe it, I got this on video! WooHoo! Will share as soon as I can. Carol P.

Well, you should definitely stop and say hi next time. Please continue to post what you see. It's really important to have Watchers that are close to the Times Square bldg reporting on the forum. Myself and 4 others saw the battle Carole, which is why I posted in the Tweet column. For what it's worth, there was another one on Friday afternoon over by the old factory across from Kodak Park. I don't think it was Mariah, because this female appears to be only slightly larger than Archer when I saw them near the TSB. I think there is a third in the area, and was still active as of Friday.
I would NEVER post in the Tweet zone unless I knew it was important. I work right under the nest box, so I see alot, and know the difference on when to be concerned, and when not to be.
At no time did I try to imply the 3rd pefa was Mariah, nor would I. She's just as near and dear to my heart as she is to everyone. I think she has settled into new areas in the West Irondequoit area, and that covers great terrain all the way down to Lake Ontario. I choose to believe she's happy, hunting, and has found a new mate or is still trying.
If we've learned one thing about her, it's her resilience and her courage and strength, and I would rather see the glass half full, rather than empty.
Thanks for following up on that post Carole. I know the watchers do an incredible job. I pass many of you on my daily route.

Hey everyone. I know this is a learning process for all of us, including me! Try to remember that everything posted on Rfalconcam Now is posted as a Tweet to the Watchers. This section should ONLY be used for posting Falcon sightings. Include the time and and what falcon is on camera (if you can ID it). During the Fledge Watch the Watchers will appreciate knowing what falcon in in the nestbox. Thanks!

Hey Dot - I saw that post and headed downtown right after work. When I found that everything was peaceful and quiet, I tweeted a report saying so. I saw no evidence of a third falcon or any battle. Thankfully. There wasn't much more to report. Dan and I were too far away. I wasn't able to get any pictures. Neither of us saw a split wing tip. Female based on size. We believe adult.
Many of the Watchers continue to check out the areas where Mariah had been seen, but nothing yet. We'll keep watching.
Thanks, Carol. But there was a post yesterday in the Rfalconcam Now / Mariah category that said: "3 falcons at nestbox! War has ensued!" That's the one I was waiting for further information on.
