This has been reported, so hopefully, soon, the camera will be pointing down at the nest box again. If the camera could go higher, we'd get a lot of views of Beauty. She (at least I think it was her) was up on the ledge above the ledge that is shown on main camera right now. Quite a bit higher.

this is the adult that might be Mariah right? so was it aggressive or playful? I can't answer that question, only Dana can. But going on past behavior between juvies and adults, the juvenile may have just been looking for food from the adult. and yes, we are hoping this might be Mariah, but until we get a positive ID, we can't be sure.

The snowflakes are beautiful. The Frosted Falcon Flakes remains one of my favorites. Well, I was certainly one of those at noon today. Eventhough the temperature reading is in the 20's and there's no wind, it's REALLY COLD out there! One Red-tailed Hawk made it worth the frozen fingers. Keep this up and we'll have to take up a collection for you to go to Cabella's and buy the heat up hunting underware! Daddy had some that were battery powered back in the 60s. I used to have battery heated socks for my 12 years of going to the Buffalo Bill's home games. I know. I was a glutton for punishment.
