Donna - We really don't have any idea where A&B are spending the night.  I'd guess it could either be on the Times Square Bldg or somewhere nearby.   falcon

Anyone know where Archer & Beauty sleep  snore at night? Some where on the TS building? Just wondering  ???

I do not believe that Linn laid any eggs this year.  We (Kathy O, Lisa McK, Linda W and I) actually stopped to look for her on our way home after RM&T's banding day.  Linn was nowhere to be found.  Haven't heard about any Linn sightings all Summer.   falcon2

I was actually there from 8:30 - 9:45 am.  Quick visit from Larry O and Curro during my Watch.

Emma is gorgeous as are all the other educational birds at Braddock.  I had no idea that they had a Peregrine.  Glad that you and Dana made it out there yesterday and thanks for posting these beautiful pictures Lou.

Thanks, Carol!
I wonder whether all three (four?) birds will be spending more time in the gorge due to the hot weather.  Has anyone been spotted flying through the spray from the waterfall?

Paul

Last week, during a noon hour Watch, Beauty flew into the gorge passing back and forth in front of the falls.  She ended up landing on the west side of the falls, which was a first as far as we know.

It was a really hot, humid day today, so Dan and I planned on getting out to Kodak Park early this morning to hopefully see Mariah or the unbanded Juvie.

Dan and I were sitting on the street on the gorge side (east) of KP. At 7:15 am,
Mariah flew in from the south, low over us and then up to the Research Lab Bldg.
where she circled the building and landed on the antenna.

For 45 minutes we were able to get really close looks at her through the scope.
Her left leg was bandless, but I was unable to see the right leg to verify the blue/yellow band.

I am 99.9% sure this was Mariah. It looked like Mariah.

Kathy O joined me near the building and took a look through the scope. She
agreed that it was Mariah.

At 8:00 am, she flew off of the building and headed towards the gorge. We
didn't see her again after that.

It was wonderful seeing her looking so well.  She was beautiful in the early morning light.   2thumbsup

Needless to say, Dan, Kathy and I will be out again tomorrow morning.

Afterwards, I picked up Brian H, and we drove around downtown. We found Archer
on the Widows Peak building. No Beauty sightings.
