___And don't forget Valiant (formerly known as Sabrina) from 2006, who turned out to be a big boy, not a little girl ___

It is amazing. This is the first time I heard about this transformation. Maybe I was on an other planet when it was tell. lol

It is sad and maybe it is not nature,  but we can't shoot Polly. For her babies are food. Just hope and pray that Spirit and Roger can keep her away. The situation is a mystery. Nicole

For those who are interested with the UDM falcon saga.

Here a mail that Eve wrote to David Bird:
Polly stealing a baby from under her mother... Spirit barely reacted -
Roger was upset and chased Polly, don't know what happened with the
baby ... Right after she was back on the tower and the parents did not
chase her away... She was back twice yesterday but no damage .... But
i'm afraid we won't have any chick left to band!!

And here the answer of David:
That;s incredible...I have never heard of that before.  Despite it being terrible news for your brood, we might be able to publish a scientific note on it.   Keep as many notes as you can on what's happening between the birds.   Sorry to hear this though.   xox
