Well yes, now that you mention it.

Yes, it is. That's not all that is there -- here is a picture Ricardo took just yesterday:

Yesterday, I went to visit my local peregrine falcon pair. The high river level made it difficult to get to the viewing spot off Plummer's Island. However, the experience was worth it. There are definitely chicks, as the pair keeps bringing food to the nest box and one can hear begging calls from far away. Here is the Dad, resting after a long hunting trip.

Here they are, eying one another:

There is a big behavior difference between the Rochester falcons and my local falcons. Both Mariah and Kaver and Beauty and Doc.ca have big faceoffs when it is time for one bird to relive the other on the eggs. In contrast, when one of my local pair returns to the nest box, the other immediately rushes out. poops, and heads for the horizon

My first sighting of a bird on Rfalconcam this year! They really are spending more time near the nest box now.

There is nothing that makes me feel as peaceful as a view of a falcon sitting on eggs.

Beauty is still in the box. It's Spring!

One of the most calming, restful sights I can imagine is a peregrine sitting on eggs. I love this time of year!

If she looks like Beauty and flies like Doc.ca, I expect it will be a long time before Etobicoke changes hands again. Go, Aria!

Welcome back, Mary! Much has changed, but the falcons are still fast and the fluffballs still cute.

I've been to the power plant a number of times, but only saw the falcon one day. There have been no reports  since April 16. Perhaps s/he has moved west.
