Heartbreaking news. It seems Renetta has passed away . SGB alerted us yesterday to a problem and as the day wore on she laid motionless, barely breathing in the nest box. She is still there this morning, not moving and not breathing.
Just a tragedy and so unexpected - no idea as to why as there are no visible signs of distress or wounds at all.
Oh dear! I feel so sad! Will anyone be able to discover why this happened? Had there been a battle or anything? Sweet thing.
