Anybody planning to attend a New Year's Eve Chat again this year?

We had 2 chats going last year: one on Ustream's Social Stream during the fireworks show and another on the Forum's chat.

How would I take part? Our New Year happens 5 hours prior to yours... but I HATE to miss anything fun!!!

If they're anything like the ones I saw in my yard you have to be quick. Many years ago I had a flock land one day. They stripped all the berries in about 5 minutes, took off together and were never seen by me again.

The visiting thrushes have stripped everything here, Ei, so no chance of the Waxwings.

GREAT excitement over Humpback Whales off the Cork Coast... and many amused grins that the people in the boat in the main photo seem to be looking the other way!!!! Noooooooooo!!!!! That would be me.

It's been a Waxwing Year here in Ireland - huge irruption, tho of course, none have visited me, in spite of all our berry-bearing shrubs/trees! Charming birds! Said to be indicative of a tough winter...

The fines are ridiculous - as with most wildlife crime. But at least he has a nasty "asbo" on his record!

Isn't that amazing! Gives us hope that the Lady of Lowes will grace the Scottish skies next spring too.

Ok so now I'm in Columbus Ohio and can't get out of here until 10:40am this morning. Almost 5 hours to be in this lovely station-could be worse like when I came here on my way to Arkansas when the bus was overbooked and I stayed here over 6 hours!!! This gets me home in Rochester at 8:00pm instead of 2:40pm this afternoon. Unless of course there's more trouble down the road!

 snarl

To repeat my FB message to MAK: Ooooooo, I think Rod and I ended up there a zillion years ago when we were "Ridin' the Dog". The cops were circling in one direction, while the evil-doers were circling in the other. Next time, when you and I are on BSB, we're gonna get a tin cup, sing a little song, and raise some money for a FLIGHT!!! Sheesh!

Did I miss it? Did we ever hear back from who (whatever the initials are) took the eggs at banding time if they were fertilized and didn't develop or if they were duds? My thoughts this morning were on Archer and was wondering if Unity's egg could of developed if things had been different. (if Dot.ca hadn't been a jerk to Beauty at first)

I hope the little guy is still out there somewhere re-cooperating    pray

Awwwww... Archer and Unity!!! heart
