What's with the Gull pluckin the Puffin? Do they eat them?   I liked the rest of the pics!  Herring gulls are total scavengers - and hunters as well. I have seen them take ducklings from the park, and would not be surprised if they could take a puffin. They will certainly steal eggs wherever they can. Needs must, I guess... Scavengers indeed! Oh my! Or... "What's that nasty Pefa doing, catching that poor Pigeon?!" |

Hmmm re your gas/petrol prices in the USA. Let's see who can do the math here... (I am not even going to try!)
Our petrol is now 1.70 Euro per litre. That translates to $2.14 per litre.
1 litre = approx 0.264 US gallons.
So... how much am I paying per gallon??
Seriously! I am stuck at this stage...
$8.11/gal I knew it would be "Shaky to the Rescue" on this one! OK! More than 8 bucks a gallon? Get over it. |
