Anyone know: Will WW be open when I am home?? (I suppose I could google?) Wonder also whether it is a place I could take my ole Dad, who is not very mobile and uses a walker. He would love the place and the birds.

Isn't it? Not sure we could use them in our homes (tho who knows..)... but they would work in places like workshops, garden sheds... EZ-PZ! You'd almost buy a garden shed just to put these in it! Isn't that man who instals them an inspiration? Able to support his family by doing this remarkable yet simple job. We have so much to learn!

Barnacle Geese grace our shores every winter - mostly in the NW, around Donegal. And we have long been familiar with the goslings' "running of the gauntlet". WHAT was Mother Nature thinking when she made the decision to have them do THIS? Yet many make it. They are a lovely little goose. (Must admit I did not watch the film...)
