V. impressive mixed Corvid flock... maybe 80+? Mostly Jackdaws, but a few Rooks knocking about. Did not see any Hooded (Grey) Crows, tho they are a bit more circumspect about their associations.

In the past 10 minutes... an amazing passage of House Martins above the garden. I'm guessing hundreds! Quite the spectacle. Safe journey, you lovely things!! Come back soon.

Bobbie it's in my morning watch report AND I made a mistake saying it was Archer. It was in fact Beauty!

We've been seeing this for some time now. A few years back, we might have prayed that the Greenfinches would leave off, as they would gang up on anything else and hog the feeders. Now, I would give anything to see one. I think the last winter saw only one or two turning up. We have been ok with Chaffinches, but of recent weeks, not a one.
