Splendid story!

Many years ago, I used to go every year to a two day Cat Show in Portland, Maine.  On the Saturday night, some of the members of the club sponsoring the show would have a real downeast clambake, featuring Lobsters, Steamed Clams, corn, etc., all cooked in the proper pit in the ground.  Many of the guests were, of course, city folks unfamiliar with the "Big Red Bugs".  They would rip off the claws and eat that meat, and just leave the rest on their plates.  My Friend (and cat fancy mentor) Alison and I graciously offered to clean up the tails for them

I am going to sit back and relax this weekend with a nice cuppa tea - or something! - and watch Patti's fun. Without even looking, I BETCHA she hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, right, Patti? Do I win something?? (This will help me get over the fact that my family visitors are leaving on Saturday - boo-hoo!)

This is another NYC moment.  The peacock flew back to the Central Park Zoo this morning.  It wasn't going to miss breakfast.

I was thinking that... never mind the catch-and-release... how about the Catch-and-COOK!?

Recently, people were complaining on an Irish radio station about Bono's peacock making noise and generally messing up the neighbourhood - which, as you might guess, is kinda up-market. Not sure what happened.

Can you imagine looking out your window and seeing that!

I know grown-ups who are not as smart as this...
