We've had swallows "prospecting" around The Shed (read: Dumping Grounds) - and Rod went and knocked out all the windows. They declined our invitation this year... obviously need fancier digs. And tidier ones too!

We are host to a number of Crow sp in our garden - from small to large: Jackdaw, Magpie, Hooded (Grey) Crow and Rook. And they wait for Rod every morning as he puts out bits in the place reserved for Corvids. I swear, they can talk! We enjoy them, in spite of the fact that many take out after them, saying they take young chicks, eggs. Which I am sure they do - but we have never noted an imbalance.
