MAK is DT, she just found the egg on the sidewalk, she called me crying . That has to be hard for her after watching all these months.

Here's what I just posted on FB...

OH no! Poor MAK! It should have been ANYONE but MAK!!! Then again, what better person to make this find, as she knows its story better than anyone. So sorry, MAK! But we know the egg is in loving hands.

Kinda echoes the gloom of the day itself. What happens now? I'm sure we all wish we knew...

I got on to check cams before I headed out for my watch and I saw Beauty get up with the egg stuck to her chest and it just fell out onto the deck. She then went out and checked it out and left. Archer came in checked it out and then went into the nestbox and started incubating like there was still an egg there!!  Oh I can't go on a watch now.this is too much

Oh no, oh no! I had been watching earlier but had to get things going around here. I guess someone had to be the first to see this sad sight!
 

Look at that fog this morning! When are we ever - you and me! - going to get a break with the weather!? My crops are at a stand-still... and I have to wear socks to bed... TMI??
