Watch for Downton Abbey - a British (tho not BBC) production set before World War I in the English "big house". Splendid ensemble acting - tho I think the "downstairs" characters are more interesting than the "upstairs". Dame Maggie Smith is at her formidable best. Screenplay is by Julian Fellowes, who won an Oscar for his writing of Gosford Park.

Ok, so I'm not sure what happened at the nest earlier but let me tell you, it didn't sound pretty. I sure wish I could see on the cams where it came from. It sounded right there. I'll never forget it and I'm still shaking.

Wha'? I better listen to my pigeons more closely. Yeah, well I have no better was to describe it. Like a bird in distress.....it was a deep gutteral sound. SCARED me! I saw nothing on cam, just heard a lot of flapping, fighting, screaming. Even my daughter and husband both said what the heck is that?? OH my! |
