At least you manage to find WORKING cams, Donna! I never seem to get it... This is a good one. At last - some Barn Owl success somewhere!

You know, I wonder if anything is going to put a stop to this. I think I am right in saying that the EU found against Malta for its hunting during migration seasons, and even fined them... which Malta simply ignored. Also, I think their president (or prime minister?) more or less told Europe to mind its own business.

Wow, cool pics MAK. What's Tory's story? Love the brick!

Can anyone get one of those bricks? We got one for Dad from the zoo a few years back and are always on the look-out for gifts for The Man Who Has Everything!

Yeah really, how do they all fit in there. Guess they do though. Sad that the male disappeared after the 3 eggs were laid, then momma. Poor eggs. I didn't find a link for a cam on the website.

P.S. I didn't know a group of Robins was called a "Round"

No, neither did I find a proper link, Donna - tho the site did say they would be following them. I will watch.

The "round" of robins was one of those vox-pop things in which people voted. The thing being that our robins are hardly ever seen in anything like a group. Three is very much a crowd, and during most winters, another one is enough to get their blood boiling. They seem to have let their battles subside this winter, tho, as it was so harsh. For such pretty little critters, they sure are feisty!

Not sure whether this link is just a teaser or not - date says 31 January, and you know how good I am at these things! Maybe, tho, it will run live at times, as the BTO site says they will be following them. I cannot believe these two are snuggled in so closely - where will the babies go?! Charming to see those two little heads poking out of the box.

For Dale... Thanks for those web links!

Mondegreens can be found in every area of the spoken word, from the record buyer who asks for a copy of the Queen single "Bohemian Rap City" to the schoolchild who is convinced that the Pledge of Allegiance begins "I led the pigeons to the flag."

Oh I'm not even going there, I was reading all MY mistakes in many many songs. Funny how we make up our own words for lyrics we don't really hear clearly. I'm so ashamed!

NOT ashamed! It's all part of the fun! My mom used to think (for example) that the old Motown song "Wishin' and Hopin'" was actually saying:

You won't get him/
Washin' and a-moppin'

Must be a Mom-Thang!

And don't forget what I said before about our take on the Agnus Dei...
