No matter what we come up with, that wise old girl, Mother Nature, thought of it first.

(Not that I understand everything they present, but I love watching for what happens at the AAAS.)

Saw they were there, Donna, but have yet to read them - I will! Your take on them??

Hmmm - complicated! I did not know that the DEC had such a bad rep...

Kinda "legalese" but an update nonetheless...

That is one lucky birder... not to mention lots of lucky birds. I was having a prob sorting some of the species, so was happy to see the full list at the end. Thanks, Donna! And MAK - you keep talking on your videos - we love it!

Make that three good posts, BigFrank! Love your African encounters. Lucky you!

But alas, too few... these are so splendid. (And remember - if you kiss enough of them...)   What?

Now, how did I know I would hear from you?! Gotta love frogs. I fell in love when the wonderful Sir David was doing his seminal series, Life on Earth. I keep hoping for frog spawn in our pond but alas, not yet... and I will kiss them if they ever get here. Ireland is not big on frog spp. - only Common Frog and Natterjack Toad, the latter confined to sites in Kerry.

Two good posts there today, BigFrank! Wish there were something we could all do for these magical owls. Not using rat poisons is obvious - but food is another issue.

Slainte!
