We stayed until after dark without seeing Archer again. I am thankful to have seen our little guy tonight. They were very cute gazing into each others eyes way up there. Ah,sleep well everyone!

More and more bird species are facing an uncertain future. The RSPB has today [Monday 4 October, 2010] identified the top 100 species in the UK that most need help to maintain their status. Forty of these have been prioritised for immediate action by the RSPB, but the society is today asking for help from government, industry, other charities and the public to provide a future for these birds...

One day I will get to Wild Wings in Mendon Ponds park when it's open. Although the few times I've been there it was closed I wasn't dissappointed for I just walked the trails and fed chicadees,tufted titmouse and nuthatches from my hand!
