Same here BC...would love to know who they are....especially the (big) male.
On another note, as curious as I am lately, was wondering: if Mariah and Kaver met outside the Kodak area, would they recognize each other, say after 2 years?
I'd like to think so. As Donna is asking a question, I have one. Some posts speak of Peregrine Falcons migrating... will "ours"? Or do they stay in ROC for the winter? Why do some go and some stay? Thanks, Experts!

Ok, here's todays: Could be an easy one, although they say it's a rare find in Ireland. Photo taken in Ballycotton, Co. Cork Who me be? The Wood Lark is what I came up with going on Bobbies' thought. Beeeautiful eagle! Donna! Nearly forgot the Mystery Bird! Since you say it is rare in Ireland, I have to guess a short-toed lark... and I only say this because I know they have been recorded here - NOT because I could ID one... still fun, tho - esp after missing the Linnet! But the poor thing - short toes! I wonder if he realises. Does this cause social difficulties? Who measured those toes?

According to the BBC...
"A researcher has calculated the 2,000,000,000,000,000th digit of pi"
I was wondering when they would let us know...
He (probably a "he") is obviously not a member of a Falcon Forum.

Thanks, MAK. Again, apologies for the ranting nature of the earlier link re this topic. It gets the message out there, but I have learned (and to my cost at times) that measured and calm feedback is much more likely to be heard. Still... the contact info in that link is valid and I hope Forum readers will consider making a statement to the relevant authorities.

Ok, here's todays: Could be an easy one, although they say it's a rare find in Ireland. Photo taken in Ballycotton, Co. Cork Who me be? Ahhh, Blessed Ballycotton... a twitcher's paradise! Saw my first (and only?) Phalarope there. A superb place during migration seasons. I am heading towards a Lark sp here. - we'll see! My own Rules for Identification: I have seen many birds in my ancient life - HOWEVER! I do not add them to any sort of real "list" til I can ID them myself. I have, for example, been "shown" a Bonelli's Eagle... looked like a flying postage stamp to me... So I have seen one... but can I ID one? Uhhhh... nope! (Spell check for "Phalarope" = "Flareup")
