A lot of Greenfinches greetings Aafke
Aafke,we would be soooooo thrilled to see some Greenfinches back at our feeders. At one time, they nearly kept shyer birds away, but there has been quite a crash recently - and I think the same is also true with Chaffinches. So the sight of either would be sheer joy. Surprised you had never seen Coal Tits... another frequent feeder here. Sweet little fellow. In fact, Ireland has its own sub-species... tho how they work that out, I do not know. Thanks Bobbie, no I never saw a Coal Tit, so cool that you have them !! I looked in my Dutch bird book and we have them too, but not in my neighborhood. Are you in a city too? Maybe that makes the different? greetings Aafke
