Thanks aafke , great pictures

These are the first ones to hatch in the Netherlands, aren't they ?
Last year I was there when the second one fledged. For me it was the first time to watch them live.
See my avator.

Greetings Carla

Yes as far as I know they are the first!
Your avator picture is very nice!!! Can you show it again in a bigger way?
This year I will try to visit them too.

Here is the Puzzle of the Week 241

Greylag Goose

This time it was more a puzzle of the month. With all the snow and bad weather, it wasn't very nice to go out for some birding.
But this weekend we went out for some birding and I could make a few pictures. We saw lots of birds but not  a lot of different kinds. Most birds were very busy with mating etc. It was nice to see.
This picture is from a Greylag Goose clapping his wings.
My time 3.56 min.

Donna, don't you worry, the Egyptian goose is such an easy bird, They are brooding everywhere. I'm sure they are brooding on a nice piece of grass, close to the water.
It would be nice for us to see the goslings  jumping down again, maybe next year.

This is the webcam from a nestbox, a pair of nuthatches is busy in and around the nestbox. At the moment you can see the female, she's busy with closing the big hole, she's doing it with different kind of material like ground, mud, cow poo and even dogpoo.
It's a live webcam and there is sound!!! Very nice. There are 2 camera's, 1 inside and 1 outside.

Hi, Aafke!  Do you have a link to this Eurasian Kestrel webcam?  I haven't been able to find it through the usual search engines . . .

Thank you.

Debbie

Hi Debbie
At the top of this topic (Raptor Web Cams) you can find a list from all webcams we talked about.
There is a link to the webcam and there is a link to the post about that webcam.

And I found another Polish webcam (Gniazdo Włocławek MPEC)
It's also a live webcam with sound ( a lot of wind at the moment)
Here are also 4 eggs.
The fourth egg was laid this morning.
I just heard them talk with each other, I was just too late but could save a picture with one bird on the eggs and the other outside. He flew away 2 seconds later.
