But I have a serious question about Thanksgiving.
I just saw on the calendre that Thanksgiving is tomorrow.
Is it ok to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving days before it is Thanksgiving?
I cannot remember that we did that before.
To be clear, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Europe, so I have no idea.

 That's very bad
 I immidiatly thought of  him protecting the eggs when there was a lot of snow. These pictures are from March 25, 2002. You can see he did it more than once.
He was the first peregrine that I followed on a webcam during the period of laying eggs and hatching.

It was one of the only moments that I saw a kingfisher sitting and not flying like a rocket, flying so fast that you only see a blue stripe. Now I had a moment to look at him very good and of course to take a picture.

Some robins in my garden are very curious too. A lot of time they are very close to me and one time a robin followed me into my glass house.

This time I didn't made my own suet but I bought a piece and put it outside.
What do you thing that I saw the next day?
Well absolutely nothing!!!!!!!! All the suet was gone.
  I'm pretty sure that the Ring-necked parakeets came with lots and lots and eat the whole suet in a very short time!!!!

Did he ever come back?

I haven't seen him again, but the food is gone every time. It's possible that an other animal eat the food, maybe a cat?
Today I put some food in the shelter that I made for the hedgehog, the opening is too small for cats, so I'm curious if the food will be gone tomorrow.
