Has it diminished or is it about the same?  Orion is looking very sleek today.

I know what it is like to watch for a fledging. And that is thanks to you guys who taught me.  Not fun at all when the bird is almost there.  You guys will be rewarded on Monday.  Fingers crossed that Beauty and Dot.ca guide him to safety for days, or at least until Friday.

And I bet he didn't get fed much today. He will be chasing after dad early Monday morning. Betcha a bagel next Saturday.

Yup, just checked the archives.  She made him fly to the north wall.  Still too much white on him, though. He will probably go on Monday for sure.

It does seem that his 'spikey do' has pretty much disappeared.  He now has a falcon head.  But he hasn't lost his little boy shorts.

From the discussion about Orion's feeding schedule, I would say his parents are now in fledge feeding mode. He is not going to get a lot of food until he flies where they want him to fly.  I do believe the male accompanies the first fledgee and does a lot of the kinderfalcon flight training.  

Orion still has a bit too much fluff.  Looks like he has another couple of days before fledging.  Isn't it only 37 days today?  39-40 days would be good to go.  Plus, he has helicopter parents who aren't going to let him go far.

Skybirdgal. Helllloooooo!  I guess all the falcon watchers in the world are here now.   Orion will be the star of the show next week.
