We definitely have fledges. 10 Exchange reported a downed peregrine that later got up and flew back to 101 Hudson when folks tried to rescue it.  So glad the area is aware of the peregrines again this year.

Mike and I named them, Buzz, Frank and Jackie for local Jerseyites. 

Fly free, Regatta.  There are many peregrines waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. It is so hard for us humans.

Do the Bird!!  That will become a YouTube sensation!  Miss you all.  When can I plan on the trip for falcon watchers' weekend?  Let's see, hatch on June 22 -23, 39 days later is July 31 or August 1.  See you in August!!

In 2008 and 2009 Chris Nadereski used V for the girls at Water Street, but none with V/O or 0.  Could be he used that combo at some of the other NYC sites.

I'm with you in spirit. Give my best to Linn and Rueben. Linn is named for Linn P in Jersey City who watched the peregrines (and eagles) until her unfortunate passing from cancer. I continue to celebrate her memory at 101 Hudson in Jersey City and at Stateline on the NJ/NY border where her lovely plaque designed by Dale resides.

But if the birds were trapped and bands up close why can't they ID?  I am perplexed. All these banders know each other.   

And I'm still waiting the ny confirmation of the female.  Paul, have you bought out all the mosquito repellent in dc?
